Program to send lots of emails at a time

The company I work for is looking for a preferrably fee free and ads free way of sending lots of emails at a time (for now let's say about 5000). We use one service now, but we are really unhappy with it, and we are trying to find something else.
    Thanks for any ideas.

actually no. Go to www.natprior.org and find the subscribe form. You'll see that to subscribe you have to go to entirely different website than ours and subscribe from there. What we want is to have it done entirely on OUR website without a need to go anywhere else (ie. you press the button and your name is added to the mailing list automatically and then we send a newsletter to people who signed up)
    !!!!!!THERE IS NO SPAM INVOLVED!!!!!!

I'll say it again (and hopefully for the last time) I AM NOT A SPAMMER. This is a real firm, with real newsletter to which you can subscribe. We do not send mail to people who didn't sign up. Don't believe me? Go to www.natprior.org and fu**ing call them (413 584 9556). I don't care. If you don't know about any services that provide what I need please DON'T POST ANOTHER USELESS POST ABOUT SPAMING. I don't spam, neither does the company I work for.

Why don't you code it yourselves?
    It can't be that difficult.

A hand full of Active Server Pages and a database...
