    Really irritating profile idea

    It's cool the way there is an e-mail link to a forum user. It is not cool the way you cannot see that e-mail address. If it's an issue of privacy, why not just make "Hide e-mail address" and "Allow others to send me e-mail" options?

    There was a virus that searched the Web for e-mail addresses to send itself; this is not a good idea.

    Not everyone has them.

    But what's the difference, though? The E-mail still goes to the user either way.

    Sometimes I need to use an e-mail client instead of the form; for example, when sending attachments.
