Remember Petrocelli on the Telli?
Did he ever finish building his house?
But apart from that, wasn't 'Vanishing Point' an awesome movie. Remember where he threw those 2 queers out of the car? Then wiped himself and the 440 out into those D9s at the end.

What? They WERE American.
Petrocelli was a lawyer, who spent his weekends building his house. His SO was whatsername who was the cowboy fella on Dallas's SO in that series. Ray & Donna? I think?
Vanishing Point was a movie, circa 1970.
I think Petrocelli's real name was Barry Newman?- no relation to Alfred E

...we thought they'd never end,
we'd sing and dance,
for ever and a day-i-ay,
we'd live live the life we choose,
we'd fight and never lose,
for we were young.....
and sure to have our way.

I remember Petrocelli, only because they showed it on BBC some years back, now we get Diagnosis Murder but we have had other delights such as:
Quincy
Ironside
Perry Mason
Classic 70's drama at it's best. If you ask me, that was a pretty crap place to build a house, I mean it was in the middle of nowhere and the roads going to it were conveniently very moutainous with sheer drops either side which made for interesting car chases. Plus how did he ever get the time? He was always defending some crack addict who was framed for murder, but should have gone down away for the hell of it.

I loved Quincy ME, but what about Magnum PI?
I worked with a chap some years back who was the SI of Higgins- we all called him Higgy of course, but he had no Ferrari. Or Dobermenn thank goodness.

The lack of time was the running joke. I often ask people where Petrocelli went. He was sooo damn cool. The last ep i ever saw he was still only up to the third or fourth level of bricks....
