PDW & MDAC 2.5

How do I get PDW to pick up MDAC2.5 instead of 2.1.

I've copied mdac2_5.exe into the \redist folder but when I install on to the users machine I'm still prompted that 2.1 is being installed!

please verify :
is the text wrong or is the old version being installed ?
which version is added to your cab file ???
be carefull, Mdac_typ.exe resides at several locations!
check your redist.txt

The wrong version(2.1) is being installed.

Thanks for your hint about looking in redist.txt, I'll get onto it!

if you think the PDW does not work very efficient try downloading the new Microsoft Installer.

the Installer can also include the dcom-install in your setup en add registry keys!
