running before the booting of winodws

hi :

i have made a application configuration file and i want that to be run before the booting of window , rather than using writing link in a autoexec batch file tell me some other method through which i could be able to run it on nt or me . and it also run when user choose the safe mode of windows to run . it is also capable to run after choosing safe mode but before booting the safe mode and it is a exe file of project.

You can't. Windows has to be started as Visual Basic is a Windows language.

Do you want it to run before Windows boots, or before the user logs in. In the second case, you have to install it as a service.
