    latest ver. of cyrstal report

    i need crystal report 6.0 or higher

    from where i can downlaod it .

    Try www.seagate.com

    Remember, it's not for free. Although CR 6 was for a while.
    The latest version of CR is 8 or 8.5. I'm not sure.

    Don't know where you can get it as shareware?

    check out Crystal Decisions here (used to be Seagate Software) for all the details.

    Note, If you want to develop with it get the Developer edition, not the professional edition. I got this wrong and had to sell the Pro version and buy the Dev ed.

    Note, if you have a previous version of Crystal Reports, then you can upgrade for a bit less. (tip: you only need an old crpe32.exe somewhere on your HD, not necessarily a full previous install, ie. that which comes with VB4!)

    CR Dev Ed 8.5 Full Product w/UA - $619 USD

    If you want something for free, then install VB4 (don't think it comes with VB5), which has version 4.5 or 4.6
