Hi,
I'd like to do a voting option for my site, but I have really no idea where to start. I think it's possible to do that in Java / JScript but I never coded for any of these (Yes, I'm a real beginner )
It would be a very simple code which increases some value stored in a file on the server and display these results.
Currently I have a poll from pollit.com but I want to get rid of advertising...
Any help would be great

Hey Fox, to do that your are going to have to have something running on your server somewhere. You cant do it wil client side JS or Java alone.

Or, you could try http://www.HTMLGear.com or http://www.bravenet.com
They offer pre-made ones that you can still customize.

Fox, is there any language platform in particular you need to use?
ie. ASP, CGI, Servlets?
