Yes! The thread resolution process would go much smoother
then having to go back and reedit the thread to put in [resolved]
    Good idea Filby!

    Well ...

A similar thing was suggested long back, and John had suggested we take the long route at present of editing the first post and adding 'Resolved' in the subject line.

Guess Jelsoft is too busy right now to make any modifications, but since it's an old demand, I join ya'll.

Use meaningfull thread titles. And add "[Resolved]" in the thread title when you have got a satisfactory response.
And if that response was mine, please think about giving me a rep. I like to collect them!

by jove i think he has it (don't give it to us ),

what a good idea, would certainly make life a little easier

Some people have told me they don't think a fat penguin really embodies the grace of Linux, which just tells me they have never seen a angry penguin charging at them in excess of 100mph. They'd be a lot more careful about what they say if they had.

If you posted it at the vBulletin support boards, they would listen to you. But you'd better do it fast, 'cause they're releasing a new version soon, and John's going to upgrade.

This has already been suggested before, but I'm not sure whether John has decided to implemented it or not. I'll check again though.
