tutorial??
can some1 plz give me a little tutorial of introductory game programming...i know visual basic and can make basic games but i want to be able to make more complex games....or can u tell me any other software that i might want to get if i am making games in visual basic. I am a newbie at game programming so can any1 help??

If you haven't learned Bitblt, learn it here:

Also, you'll want to learn DDraw at some point --

thanks....if u can think of any other programs plz refer them to me too. Well can u explain to me exactly what these programs do?

Good Ol' Platypus
They are programming interfaces that you use. They require no controls or anything, just a little extra things:
1. For Bitblt, you use an API declaration.
2. For DDraw, you add it to your projects' references.
