Generate a Stereogram with VB
Hi,
i've seen many stereograms and i really wanna try generating a pic into one myself with VB!!!
Can some be kind enough to teach me, give me good resource web sites or even up an example on how to generate a stereogram? Any algorithms needed???

If my idea of what a stereogram is is correct, then you would have to get two pictures of this object. Pic. #1 would have to be from a slightly different angle than pic. #2. Make one green and the other red (or any contrasting colors) and mix them.

I believe (if what I'm thinking is also correct) that traditionally, blue and red are used.

Yes, i've seen the terms SIRDS and IMHO but don't know what they are and stand for, can u tell me?
And most of the results i got is in C or Java Programming, but i want something in VB.
help

If you find algorithms you could easily recreate these in VB.

yes i know, but the thing is, i can't find any algorithms written for VB. Common ones are only for Java and maybe C++.

SIRDS = Single Image Random Dot Stereograms
Meaning you only have 1 picture (not like red+green) and the 3d effect is done by randomized dots (or at least it looks so) ...
indeed you just need the formula you can nearly convert 1:1 to VB..
