If it's six months after MSs claimed date you are probably correct. The training company we use is issueing MCSD courses in the first quarter of 2002 for vbnet etc so you are probably correct

Microsoft included all functionality in the latest beta release, so it's unlikely they'll miss their release date by too much. They're also predicting slower sales for that quarter I hear, so that'd be a good time for a sale boost.

Windows XP was released ahead of schedule, so maybe even before then.

Only to select OEMS. XP still has 15 days, 16 hours, 50 minutes and 30 seconds 'till public release.

VB.Net is being release at the end of October for MSDN subscribers (Gold Edition).

The release date for the general public is February.

Being an MSDN subscriber, I guess I'm one of the lucky ones!!!

Rob Burgess is correct. Our company is working hand and hand with Microsoft consultants. The release date is end of October. Beta 2 has tons of bugs.

By the way, what is the difference among java2, javascript, and java serverside pages?

Yes, we are keeping close contact with microsoft. The have confirmed to use that it will be release by the end of october (for subscribers).

I feel that although there are numerous bugs in beta 2, there are no fundermental ones that can hold up production.

what do you get if your an msdn subscriber?
If you pay the full $$$ for Universal, you get developer copies of all MS OSes, .Net Server (SQL, Exchange, etc), Office Dev., VS Enterprise, Visio, etc) plus 4 support incidents.

    Java-related?
And I heard someone was going to bring Java to .Net???
