Thread: Repair database error 3356

    I am doing a repair database using DBEngine.RepairDatabase and am getting error 3356 which says the database is opened exclusively by myself. AS far as I know it isn't but how can I make sure before issueing this command?

    If you have a connection open, you need to close it. Then issue the DBEngine.Repairdatabase. After the DBEngine.RepairDatabase you can reopen your connection.
