    Question

    Does a Control exists to play .dat files? (vcd)
    Or is it real hard to write one? Thanks...

    I think Windows Media Player OCX plays all media files for you. I have not yet tried VCD's.

    this is sorta of an off the wall question but if you write a prog which uses a ms control such as Windows Media Player OCX, and then sell that prog for money? Can you get sued? Do you just have to give microsoft a naming in your prog, saying you used that copyrighted control?

    Oh yeah. That's true. But there's no other way I know of playing VCD's, MP3's or CD's.

    Can I use Active Movie Control without licencing it? It is (I think so)shipped with MS visual studio .
