    Midi

    Ok who knows how to access the MIDI instruments and get the different notes and stuff like a keyboard. If i click a command button i want it to play the Middle C key.

    You can do that with DirectMusic I think... don't quote me on that though.

    yeah the sad part is..i dont know anything about DirectX and DirectStuff..

    the website for msdn is msdn.microsoft.com right? i dont really go to msdn that often...i'll check it out though.

    also i am using visual basic you do know that right? not Visual C++

    You should at least be able to read C++. If you have any questions, just ask me, or in the C++ forum. It's not all that different.
