    Angry mscomm32.ocx in VB6 learning edition?

    I use vb6 learning edition. I want to write an application that can read from a serial port, so I'll probably need mscomm32.ocx. Is it possible to install this ocx in VB6 learning edition or do I need to upgrade?

    Perhaps somebody has an alternative to read data from a serial port?

    seem to me u will have to upgrade to Pro. or Entepr. edition.
