Hi,
I'm planning on creating a simple scripting engine. What are some things that I need to know before I begin. I would gladly appreciate it if you can point me to a web site or offer some assistance or just some basic ideas or steps that I need to follow.

If you don't know where to start, why not use some other scripting engine, vbscript springs to mind
