NewBie on Data Bound Controls

I am in the process of creating aText Box Control which I would like to be able to bind to a data source .

All the books I have are fairly vague in this area, and searches of other sources are similarly vague. I have tried to create a Datasource Property for my control without much success. Is there anybody out there with any detailed advice or could point me to a good source of info on this topic.

I don't known what you want to do.

a TextBox can bound to a Datasource itself.Why creating another one?
