    What car should I get?

I can drive(w/ learners) in March, and I want to start saving up to get a car... I want to get a car, but I can't think of anything I want that costs less than $6,000(The car would be used, of course)....

    Anybody have any suggestions?

No, but if youc an get a minivan for that price, imagine what you can get a regular car for.

I'm getting a 2-year-old Oldsmobile Alero when I go to Uni (we're buying the 2002 model soon, and it'll be MINE when I leave! YEAH!)

Since you are just 15, I would recommend a toy car (yeah !..the one with a remote control.)

I can drive (with a licenced driver sitting in the passenger seat) legally in March... And I want to start saving now...

I do have $20,000 stashed away, but I'd prefer to save that for something else(College)...

    Kombi van

or a classic 1960's Vespa or Moto Guzzi...

For your first car, buy a piece of ****, cos you'll either write it off or get it written off by a mate, and the insurance when you are young and male is huge...

    yeah
also Dennis i would suggest that u resist the urge to drive alone on the same day that you get ur license. That is unfortunately when many people are killed as adrenalin exceeds judgement.

    in canada (Ontario in perticular)
    we have few licence levels

    1. is when you go to know the signs ect, after you get this, you can drive with someone that has experience
    2. then you go for your driving test... after you pass that,
you can do what ever the HELL you want, anyway you want...
    3. 5 years later.. you have to go for the FINAL test.. (your guranteed to fail the first time, and its 75$ every time you go for this test...
after you get this you no longer go for anymore tests

i just got my final one

i definately will have to agree with beachbum on that..
i was speeding like crazy, cutting people off
doing weird things *you know me*...
and definately was pushing for that 260km limit my speedometer read,.... in the city

so ya, back to what beachbum said

stay off the road first day
