Apparently I've "pissed off a lot of people," as Justin put it. It only makes sense that if I'm not acceptable to others, I should leave. I saddens me, however, that it has been done through means of force, rather than request; a simple request from anyone for me to leave would have been sufficient, for I was somewhat unaware of the number of people who wanted me to leave. Adam, the reason why everyone hates you is because you flamed EVERYONE and you were just being a general ass a lot of times. Maybe in a few months you will grow up and we'll be happy to see you back again.

I highly recommend you invest $8 in a book by Dale Carnegie called "How to Win friends and influence people". Remember, VBW is just a forum; there are many other places on the Internet for you to visit, and many other people you will come across in life. So this small investment will help you greatly in life.

I was also once banned from a forum...I took about 2 months off (as a matter of fact, that's why I came to VBW because I was bored since I wasn't accepted there anymore). Now I'm back there, being very nice to the regulars, with over 1600 posts.

So read what I've typed, think about it, and we might see you back again someday

I, whilst having my own fair share of differences with Adam, am still sad to see him banned.

I certainly did not see anything in that thread (provided by Abdul) that would give me an understanding of why he was banned.

I suppose it's just something that builds up over time but I still say that I've not seen anything by him that's been much worse than certain other people.

At the end of the day, we have to respect the will of the moderators.

Still, he was not a bad bloke...

Well you must have seen thread after thread where no matter what the subject one of them would start insulting the other and the most trivial of subjects would turn into flame wars. I warned both of them publicly and privately to stop the insults but they would not. Finally in the "Kovan & Adam" thread I warned them both again that if either one if them posted even one more insult or offensive remark that I would ban one or both of them. Adam ignored me and called kovan gay (even though he included a "sarcastic" smiley) and based on that and my warning I banned him.

That is what martin liss said

maybe moderation does not "suck" after all...

for what its worth i did not hate you, and still do not hate you... you are not a bad person, you may over-react at times, but you are not a bad person.

yes, but you have nothing to do w/ banning them, and neither does martin as only admin's can ban people... and moderation still sucks (in my opinion) but up until know i haven't had any problems... but i do not think adam should be banned.
