    Merlin ?

Some people have told me they don't think a fat penguin really embodies the grace of Linux, which just tells me they have never seen a angry penguin charging at them in excess of 100mph. They'd be a lot more careful about what they say if they had.

    Wink debugging

i've done all of the debbugging that i am able to do

and here is what i found

when i clicked on online chat request and typed a message in and click on send

    i got the following message

"Runtime error 40006 Wrong protocol or connection state for the requested transaction or request"

when i went on send file and selected the file to send and the user to send it to

it said that there was no connection detected and i tried it on my network at home (both tcp/ip and ipx) and it still couldn't find a connection

it looks very good but like i said it can't detect any connections

sorry i can't help you any further

    Merlin ?

Yes I will be happy to debug it as well.

Are you sending us the source code as well? It might be easier so we can try to fix the problem ourselves and than send it to you.

    Angry woops.. forgot something

for all you guys who were trying to debug my program. I forgot to mentioned that You'll need to open 'schat.vbp' and 'online chat.vbp' together. 'Schat' is the server and 'Online Chat' is the Client. and you'll have to connect using IP's. enter the IP beside the 'Connect' button and click connect. That should connect you the the server. or u can try 127.0.0.1(if u don't have a specified IP) as a default.
sorry for any inconvinience (is that how u spell it???)
