Kids....I should have had ten of them!

I just got back from the SPs trying to keep my son out of jail.

This weekend is homecoming and each class builds a float on the back of trailers. Last night at 1:00am my son and a bunch of friends took my suburban and went to each house, hooked the floats up to my car and left the floats in the middle of the school quad. They left a note at each house saying: "You've been struck by the class of 2002! See you at school". A typical senior prank.

One parent called the SPs and wanted to have them charged with grand theft auto!!!!!!!!! What a bunch of horse ****! The SPs said that they would just be warned. The school hasn't decided whether to suspend them or not. Doesn't anyone have a sense of humor anymore?????

People who have no sense of humor are often the cause of much humor

Nobody has any sense of humor anymore, the JV football team aren't allowed to strip the Freshmen team to their underwear, duct tape their hands and feet, and throw them in front of everybody at homecoming anymore.... What is the world coming to?

I think that was a pretty good prank as they go

Our lot firebombed a scrap car and nearly blew up the chemistry store, so count yourself lucky

    Well I hate my kids.

No, not hate them as such; I hate being their father. I was (am) a brilliant uncle to my brother's and sister's kids, and I'm very proud of my kids. I just would've preferred not to be a father at all.

    Fatherhood SUCKS, unclehood is OK.

    Diagnosis: correct
Prescription: wrong, in fact part of the problem. Or vice-versa.

Many prescriptions of various things didn't help; nor did big-S.

    Although that remains a possibility.

Agreed. Don't you love it? It doesn't matter if the kids get bitchy, angry, or anything. You just hand them back to their parents and let them deal with it.

Laugh, and the world laughs with you. Cry, and you just water down your vodka.

Run around the neighborhood naked! Always helps me feel happier! Not sure how the neighbors feel about it but I haven't been arrested yet!

Bikes are evil! I rode 2-3 miles on one yesterday, and my ass is really sore....

If anybody says anything not related to bike riding regarding that comment, I'm going to smack them with the largest, wettest mackeral I can find.

Yes but I meant it more literally than that.

    The big-S is the solution

School Leavers Pranks over the past few years at my school include:
    • Giving the teachers a crateful of chocolate bars (previously injected with large amounts of laxative )
    • Driving about the school grounds at high speeds with people sat on the bonnets of cars.
    • Taking pot-shots at teachers with air rifles.
    • Stuffing maggots, rotten fish and other biological items in the ceiling panels and leaving them there as long a possible.
    • Almost burning down the newly re-furbished physics labs.

    Count yourself lucky....

I know...I did much worse when I was a kid and no one ever called the cops. At least the SPs had to good sense not to arrest them.

Jim......I didn't understand what you meant by reading my other posts. Have I written something to upset you?

You haven't just found out your best mate's a schizo and has to be locked away for the rest of his life "for his own good".
I also feel a bit worthless ATM, seeing as the only things in my life are my PC & my music.

It all stems from him getting his under age g/f pregnant (twice) and her miscarraiging (twice) , since then he has bee seriously depressed, and this has brought his schizophrenia out. He's currently on 2 Prozac a day , but he has to be supervised everywhere he goes (and I mean everywhere) and he's not allowed anything sharp. He's not allowed back to school until he's stable, so ATM it's not certain where he'll end up, but an asylum is a possiblilty .

Can't they put him in a half-way house or something?
