    Can anyone recommend a good tutorial or a book on Tasks, and Asynchronous programming?

    Any particular focus? E.g. WinForm vs web dev? Or are you looking for something more generic?

    Yeah, something more generic. Since posting this question, i've bought a book. It hasn't arrived yet, but if i have any more questions, i'll post back here...

    Which book did you go with?

    I was going to recommend an O'Reilly book solely based on brand name, but I couldn't find one for that subject that was recent.
