    Resolved [RESOLVED] SBList Control

I came across the SBList OCX control the other day and implemented into one of my programs. Unfortunately when I run the compiled program it indicates it must be licensed. It never indicated as such in the IDE. Unfortunately the website and email address no longer exist and I would really like to purchase it. I know it's outdated but it does what I want. In one of the posts here, there was a mention that it "was now free". Does anyone have a free version or know how I can obtain one? The version I have is 3.0

    Thank you,
    Bob Gregory

It’s mentioned in post 8 in the following thread, but url is indeed dead now:

    The page on Archive.org

Maybe you can send a private message to Steve Grant, he obtained a free version

Don't know if it's the free version, but I found a link to sblist31.zip here: http://www.lanet.lv/simtel.net/win95/visbasic-pre.html

Just what is it about the SBList that is so desirable? There may be other opportunities already available with source code.

    Re: SBList Control

SteveM22, it's not that it's so desirable but I just implemented into a new program of mine and don't want to have to redo it. I've been using the MBList control for quite a while but it has a certain limitation "bug" that I have had to deal with. You mention "other opportunities"? What are they? I've been using VB for some time but have a lot to learn. An OCX control usually makes things easier.

I sent him a private message. Hopefully I'll hear from him. Thank you.
