Lucky McLaren was so dominant at the beginning of the year because Max gave them a major beat down at the end of the year. Hard to predict next year because of the major car changes.

Max did everything he could down the stretch. Oscar folded, McLaren almost let both Lando and Oscar down with their own team issues. Lando won it, fair and square. I'm glad it came down to the last lap.

Interesting changes to the cars. Looks like it's going to be a few races before we know where all the teams stand. Right now Mercedes looks dominate.

I have a Peacock subscription in order to be able to watch Super/Motocross races. I was able to bundle AppleTV with Peacock for less than $5 extra per month. For me, it is worth it.

Now a days, I only get to watch a fraction of the NASCAR Cup Series races....

They moved the races to different channels and I don't have access to most of them. SF1, USA and TNT Sports to name a few.

Wait... wot? Per race? I thought it was included as part of the monthly subscription to AppleTv? If it's not, then I might just pop for the $30/yr option and watch it delayed on my own time on F1TV ... OR not at all..

I didn't know there was a F1TV package you can buy for $30yr. I wonder if I can get that through my DirecTv . I'll check into that

On Reddit I read you have to have an AppleTv subscription to unlock F1 TV.

Correct. Since F1 is the only thing I would use Apple TV for, that is fairly pricey.

I understand what your saying. But there was a few other things on the site I want wanted to watch and there would be three races within the month so I signed up. I'll probably cancel after this month. Sucks because I enjoy watching F1.

My understanding is that the vanilla F1 package comes free with AppleTV for US subscribers. However, there is some sort of F1 Premium package that you can subscribe to above and beyond AppleTV that lets you watch a bunch of other racing series, like F2, F3, F4, etc. And I think it gives you a bunch of extra feeds for F1 races as well.

But AppleTV's base subscription is a direct replacement for what has been broadcast on the various ESPN channels for the past 5 years as far as F1 content is concerned. You get all practices, all qualifying, all sprints, and all races for F1.

What a crazy start of the year. Both McLarens don't even start the race. Max is all over the place. Mercedes are far better than everyone else.

McLaren and Red Bull better get it together pretty quickly if they want to stay in the hunt for the championship. There will be a big break after Japan, maybe that will give them a chance to reset.
