Images displayed using imgur are now dead to the UK and the EU. AVOID IMGUR

I have been using imgur to upload images to this forum as the image hosting here is rather broken.

Unfortunately imgur is no longer allowing access nor displaying content to UK users and I believe the EU as well.

That will kill a lot of the threads here where imgur has been used to provide the imagery.

So, my previous recommendations to use imgur were faulty and I now withdraw that recommendation.

Please don't use IMGUR. I will not be using it from now on. I do hope they go bust. Lazy swines.

If you have any other recommendation then feel free to add here.

I just used imgbox for a quick test on a recent thread and it is a pain, requiring square images.

The INSERT IMAGE "button" has been bad a long time....

The GO ADVANCED - MANAGE ATTACHMENTS works 100% of the time.

imgur took a commercial decision to withdraw from just the UK because of UK specific regulations. Their decision does not affect the EU at all.

If you're a user in the UK and need to access imgur content, then simply use a VPN.

Since your tone suggests you're against using imgur in the future, I would suggest that you use a VPN to get the content you've hosted on their website (presumably for free all these years) and then host it on VBForums using the manage attachments approach that Steve suggested.
