    clodflare slow and not responding

Is the site under a DDOS attack or is clodflare just being a clod?

Same experience here. Slow access, timeouts etc.

Also, "rate this post" hasn't been working for at least a few days now.

Could you create a separate thread about this?

I'm unable to replicate, I just gave jdc2000 reputation for sharing the Cloudflare outage and it went through just fine.

I think it's been working fine for a while now.

    Hi,

I don't know if it is because of cloudflare that somethimes the forum is very slow to answer, but I regulary get the cloudflare human verification screen that check itself the chebox (where is the human verification here ? lol), iit just making visitor losing time, this thing on a lot of website is just.... annoying

Is there a real interest of passing by cloudflare (excepted to have non-answering website when cloudflare is down) ?

CloudFlare is used to automatically block most bad users and bots etc before they even reach our site.

It blocks things like DDOS attacks, and it keeps lots of spammers etc away.

Unfortunately for some people (especially those with slow/unreliable internet connections) it can cause a noticeable delay before you can get into our site.

Re: clodflare slow and not responding

Just from my experience on this site, if we didn't have things like that blocking spammers, we'd need a LOT more mods.

We will have to put up with some small annoyances because there are plenty of people in this world who wish to inflict major annoyances on us. If there was a better way to stop the utter firehose of spam that is out there, then that would be great.

In theory, the CloudFlare check that happens when you first come here is now turned off.

It has been off for me for at least a week.... About half of the sites have the auto check function.....

The huge / major page loading delays have been gone for even longer..... That works for me
