    BUT.... you really love it compared to the less secure site that had tons of error messages and horribly slow page loading time

    Yes, true.

    Instead of navigating via the home page and searching for New Posts, which can incur a several slow attempt penalty using Palemoon, I now keep a page open for the VB6 part of the forum, same for TwinBasic and in addition my own profile for the most recent posts. That way I have access to the parts of the forum I require without having to go through Clodflaps human/bot check. The rest of the forum does not get a look-in though.
