Hi, I'm making a monopoly game on vb 6, and it's working fine so far. I've made the turn structure, buy and rent system, and other systems, but it's only a two player game.
The only thing (so far) which is crap is the layout, if anyone wants to design the board, please reply and I give you some more details.
Thanks in advance!

Sorry, im replying without being an artist at all. I would like to have a copy of that game, if you don't mind.
Thanks

writing software in C++ is like driving rivets into steel beam with a toothpick.
writing haskell makes your life easier:
reverse (p (6*9)) where p x|x==0=""|True=chr (48+z): p y where (y,z)=divMod x 13
To throw away OOP for low level languages is myopia, to keep OOP is hyperopia. To throw away OOP for a high level language is insight.

I'm not really looking for an artist, jsut someone who can make a board in vb with boxes an stuff.
Sure i'll send you the program but, i've just changed it to be more efficient, so as soon as i've done that i'll send it to you, (it won't be finished though but it should still work.

I've got my GCSE's coming up, so i can't work on it for a while. But i've got a week off school in a fortnight so i'll finish it then, and send it to whoever wants it.
I've made the actual board now, so i shouldn't need any help.
Thanks

sounds cool, send me a copy.
(ever consider selling it as shareware when you're done? You may need a license from Monopoly though.)
Often talked of, never seen,
Ever coming, never been,
Daily looked for, never here,
Still approaching, coming near,
Thousands for its visit wait,
But alas for their fate,
Tho' they expect me to appear,
They will never find me here.
What's this about?

there are so many monopoly shareware that I don't think it would really sell that good but since so many people are interested it would be cool to put it on a page or if it doesn't use to many graphics just upload it on this thread...

I wouldn't mind making board. It would look nearly idenictal to the real board, and would take me a few days (2-7) to perfect.
I will basicly use a scanned in image of a board, then write a event to handle the clicks.
I will begin work at around 3:30 to 4:00 PM PDT (22:30 to 23:00 GMT).
