So today I've been called rightish, Trump supporter (aka fascists) , trans phobic, insulting, anti NATO manger and US enemy.
But that is the least of the price to pay seen the hive going down in flames and reduced to a rabbit hole and I love it!
    Keep it up.
That's terrible, let's see what people have called you today. Searching, searching, .....

This is all I could find,
Would your right-wing mind be changed by any arguments I could present, even if the facts backed up my claims?
Hmm, only could find 1 out of the 6 things you claim.

Also, couldn't find any answers from you to the questions you were asked.

It probably would. I don't think the word has the same baggage over there as it has in the US. It might have different baggage, but it doesn't appear to be the same.

Yeah, that's an interesting word. Both side claim it.

How much were they supposed to take before putting their foot down?
They certainly were disrespected again and again, but they put their foot down in a different country. Even if you feel they were right to do so, that other country does have the right to fight back. You might say (and might have already said) that the US is facilitating them fighting back. That would be true. So what? At worst, it makes it a proxy war, just like has been fought by numerous countries, including Russia. Furthermore, it is the Ukrainians who are doing the fighting and, slightly less of, the dying. They've come up with loads of innovations, which other countries are watching closely.

Russia has lost. We just don't know the dimensions of that loss, yet, but we do know some of them. No matter what the outcome is in Ukraine, Russia has gained a long border with NATO, has been exposed as being largely incompetent, has done serious damage to their own economy (though exactly what shape that will take depends on how things turn out), and has changed the face of warfare forever.

That last one has yet to be realized, but it will be. They've shown how cheap drones can make effective, and powerful, weapons. Hardly surprising, of course, so it was really a matter of who would put it in practice first, but now that it's out there, where will it show up next?

I went looking for a cartoon from the Soviet invasion of Finland back in the Winter War (which didn't have the Winter Soldier, as far as I know). I found this one from the start of this thread, which is not the one I was thinking of. I remember one where a large Stalin (representing the USSR) had grabbed a petite woman (representing Finland) and was accusing her of attacking him.

In other words, attacking Ukraine on the pretext of being threatened, is business as usual for them. I've always thought that Greece would be more likely to empathize with Ukraine, considering that Greece seems to have been attacked on similar grounds in the past.

    Yes they do. lol

On a more serious note, they also use it to justify some horrific acts. Currently Israel is using it kill tens of thousands of Palestinians.

Greece is with Russia on people side and with Ukraine on traitor politicians side, so we cover both ground
The cartoon is nice, although 1940 has nothing to do with today.
Look, people here ( I was bored to explain again) already stated one side and the other side arguments , the point is that Biden before leaving, let the use of long range warheads that was not allowed before. Out of the blue.
Of course you (plural) would find 100 argument saying Biden had all the rights in the world to do so and blah blah blah. So that is pointless and I won't participate. What I participle is the thread meaning. So I would laugh and make fun of the WOKErs because we put up with them for 4 years and now it's over. They cry like babies they try to pass us for , trans phobic, they are suddenly insulted they call us fascists but that is their last dying burp and that is what it is and I really enjoy it.

Not out of the blue. Allies have been arguing for allowing that for a long time. Lots of US military leaders were arguing for that. The timing is interesting, but I thought that the move was going to happen two or three months ago, just based on what I was hearing. I was pretty certain that it WOULD happen. There may be a political reason for the timing, but it also may not be the political reason that you are thinking about. People talk about it being a poison pill for Trump, but it may also be a recognition that it was now or never. Biden was getting pressured to do that, both internally and externally. He clearly has misgivings, but he also realized that this was it.

Perhaps they are sex offenders themselves in their promiscuity. BTW, isn't it the child's body? The one they seek to murder, almost always sheerly out of personal convenience and a general lack of personal responsibility? What about the infertile old hags with empty egg cartons who can't get pregnant anyway? It's about conditioned self-loathing.

A vanishingly small fraction of abortions have anything to do with r***, incest, or hazards to the parent's health.

I wasn't talking about just that anyway. No, it's a far more generalized fear they've been whipped into.

Wow, so being promiscuous is the same as being a sex offender? That is a pretty extreme point of view to take. Who defines the acceptable number of sexual partners you are allowed before being classed as a sex offender?

Good to know that an individuals choice to have consensual sex is no different to being a victim of sexual assault.

Your use of phrases like "infertile old hags" says everything about your attitude to females and sex.

You were the one to move the goalpost here, I never brought the issue up.

Promiscuity is not a virtue. Infanticide even less so. Unprepared to be a parent? Then stop having casual sex. That applies to everyone involved.

You made the point about women being fearful and easily led, I merely pointed out that perhaps they have a right to be fearful of a convicted sex offender who shows no regard for women. Not sure how that was moving a goalpost.

You described people being promiscuous as possibly being sex offenders, you are forcing your morality onto them. I merely pointed out that your stance is pretty extreme, and again you are denying an individual the right to treat their own body in a way that they choose. Not sure how this is moving a goalpost either.

I never claimed promiscuity was a virtue, but it is a valid choice. It certainly isn't the same as being a sex offender, either legally or morally.

Then again, "your body, my choice" seems to be the new mantra in some people's mind.

Ah, the sex police have arrived. Lets punish anyone having sex that don't want a child(there are no 100% reliable forms of birth control). Let's force them to bring an unwanted child into this world. That's got to be the healthiest thing for all involved and will will make the world a better place. Let's remove any other option.

I always love how the pro-life crowd are very much for forcing a child to be born. After that they seem to stop caring... Financial support for the child - unlikely, supporting a fair and free health service - not a chance, banning (or at least putting some restrictions on) the sale of assault weapons that are going to be used in yet another school shooting - nope. It is almost as if they don't actually care about the child at all, they just want to impose their will on the mother.

I wouldn't lump Dil into that category. I don't agree with him on this, but I think he comes from a good place. I don't think he is right about the medical necessity abortions being rare. I suspect that they are remarkably high, though I haven't gone looking for numbers on this. Childbirth used to be the most dangerous event in a woman's life, though that was due to a variety of causes, not just medically complicated pregnancies.

Childbirth is something that humans are rather surprisingly bad at, on a biological level.

Yeah, and there we have the parroting of insults again and diverting from the topic at hand.

The anti-human/anti-responsibility agenda is over. Get used to it. If the citizens of a given State choose to support infanticide they can always still legalize it though, as unjustified as that is. All that changed is the rollback of Federal overreach in dictating it to everyone.

My point is that without the exploitation of fear the Election would have gone even harder against militaristic globalism. Even ignoring all of the exposed (and still yet unexposed) election tampering.

The missing 10 to 20 million votes is still a mystery that needs investigation. Nobody buys the "Biden voters just stayed home this time" excuse considering what a noisy election season we just went through.

You must be talking about the republicans would have got less votes since there was a republican presidential when all the military conflicts that the US has been engaged in recent history were initiated. Desert Storm, Iraqi Freedom, the occupation of Afghanistan. Plus exploitation of fear is Trumps bread and butter. Like all those murderous immigrants that eat your cats and dogs. The ones that are taking all our high paying jobs. Both sides are dirty with the exploitation of fear during the campaign.

You need to take a refresher course in math. There is roughly a 7 million vote difference with votes left to be counted. Or maybe you need a refresher course in honesty. This falsehood has been pointed out to you before but you insist on spreading this false claim.

I'm so glad to be living in Germany. It's not extreme left or right. Parties work together for the good of the country even though they have differences, without lies, or spreading inflammatory and aggressive language towards each other.

What's been going on in the states would be political suicide here, with extreme cases being criminally charged followed by prison sentences.

That's interesting. I wouldn't have thought that from the news we see here in the US. But the news does tend to sensationalize thing. The ordinary doesn't make the news. There was a lot of coverage of the afd winning an election.

What about the infertile old hags with empty egg cartons who can't get pregnant anyway?
You really are full of hate aren't you?

Edit>Seriously, quotes like this that deride and degrade groups are not acceptable on this forum and, although I picked out Dil's, he's not the only one engaging in it. If people cannot express their arguments without resorting to this I'm going to be closing threads and handing out bans. There's a lot of people in this thread who need to grow up.

I'm still curious on who covered the Playboy on Ross gif.
Care to come to the light?

If dil is full of hate imagine all the people all these years that called a few of us whatever hateful phrase imaginable.
For old hags, I'll admit I did not understand the post and the later responses so I'm staying out of this.

As a general rule I suggest calming down a bit. See what Trump will do and pick it up from there.
