Chat Apps, Messager, Whatapp, ....etc..why ?
[SIZE=5]I'm using Messager texting to whomever
At some point they want, demand switching to Whatsapp...in my example
Why ?

In Europe WhatsApp is much more popular than Message (iPhone only??)

Between Messager and Whatsapp, there is no differences in safety ans use ?
So , some people just demand whatsapp because they like it....I guess

I hardly ever used Messager, but with whatsapp it’s easy to create groups, share (one timej media, create polls, share documents. And everything is encrypted

With my old cell with WiFi connection, I can connect to FB / Messager...no SIM card
but
With Whatsapp, one must need a SIM, so...they can see my my cell number ?

With Messager you mean the message function of Facebook?
I thought you were using iMessage on the iPhone..
I’ve never used the message tool of Facebook and also stopped using FB at least 6 years ago
