I'm going to bump this thread with a link to where this can still be downloaded from Microsoft "directly", and by that I mean via the Wayback Machine archive of the Microsoft web page that offered this for download almost 22 years ago. There's a bit of redirect-palooza that happens with the San Jose URL, but it gets there eventually.
