    Talking What another MP3 player?

    Another MP3 Player(So what?)
Everyone wants to code one and everyone ask (How do I?,Is this Possible?)

So I decided to put together a MP3 Player with options like,
Continuous Play, continuous Play with loop to first MP3 in folder,
    randomize Play,User defined startup folder,Associate mp3's,easy
tag editer Music cd player, and more....

    I've tested,tested,and tested some more...
Now I need beta testers for feed back....

Mp3 player uses windows media player because most people
all ready have it,(but loads so dang slow LOL).

If you'd like to check it out download from here:
    ftp://maxx.tunzz.com

FTP site is up from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm (CST) 7 days a week..

If you find bugs please let me know...
If you want the code E-mail me.

Just a "sales" point of view : why would I want to use your player over Winamp?

My MP3 Player Loads in 2.2 seconds......
windows mediaplayer loads in about 10 to 15 sec.
    Winamp loads in ? sec.
    winamp cost $

The point is this. You learn from doing things as you read , try, or you cut and paste(lol)....

I want to be sure that it works correctly before posting source....

ps I have nothing against Win amp ,Windows media player..
I just wanted something to play My 1200 + mp3's with, without
having to make play list or sorting....Now I can play all,any or what ever ,with out all the trouble of play list......

Winamp is free and loads in one second, and is skinnable and supports M3U playlists (with recursive additions) and plugins.

But to stop harassing you...I tried it, and when it started up it gave me two path errors. But it did load.

My major gripe is the interface. Unless you are adding skins to a program, it should IMHO go with the standard Windows colors and fonts. If you don't, some users might not be able to interpret the interface as well.

The reason for the path errors is because you had no MY documents\My music folder.

That's why I added the info to check the settings for path
I knew,,,(What can go wrong will go wrong)lol...

Everyone I talked to already had that folder....Sorry(lol)
I'll change that! or maybe Create it with the setup.......

As far the colors ,I wasn't planning on handing out a compiled
    program........

    Thanks for your input......

I Know it possible with mediaplayer and MCI but seems I read that with MCI it's everything todo with the sound card that supports it.....mediaplayer its a matter of code (ocx maybe)...
I've looked around but so far haven't found anything that works...

    You should try FMOD

Have you tried FMOD? Simple DLL used
to play music through DirectSound or
    Windows Media, Includes EQUALIZER
and other DSP effects, Spectrum analysis
load music into multiple channels and so
    much more

To see a sample of what FMOD can do
    see my MP3 player

    X Media Player
