Hi all,
I also am having a problem with PWS. I got it
installed on my 98 machine and it runs fine.
I have created a couple of pages both .htm and
.asp files, and they work just fine. My problem
is that I can't access them from a different computer.
Does anyone know what I have to do to be able to pull
these pages up with IE from another machine. I am on
LAN network and have all rights to everything. Someone
please help.
Thanks,

protcol://server ort/filename.extension
If you are on a LAN you can use either..
Machine NetBIOSName
Machine Hostname
IP Address
http://192.168.1.10
http://yourpcname
http://yourpcname.yourcompany.com
You'll need to find out your IP or Hostname before you can give out your address to other people on the network.
Try even going to a DOS prompt and doing 'ping localhost'
See what IP address that returns or even using WINIPCFG and have a look at what your localhost IP is set to via your network card.
