FTP Question (IIS)
I have a question regarding FTP... I have done a site for a company and they need to upload it / update it themselves... This requires FTP.. I gave them a copy of Dreamweaver 3 so that they could do the things that they needed to and then upload it using the FTP program integrated into Dreamweaver 3.
This is all fine and dandy though there is a major problem, they have a firewall that stops the person from uploading the relevant changes.. Is there a way (using IIS -- or something like that -- they have IIS 5 running the Firewall) to let the user get out of the firewall for the FTP and back in again?
I know that this is an odd question but it needs sorting asap.
Cheers for all your help.
Chris

I'm sure it can be done. I have a ftp & http server up running behind TWO firewalls (SMC Barricade router/firewall and Tiny Personal Fireall software). The first time someone tried to use the http server after installing Tiny Personal Firewall a message came up asking if they could have permission. I clicked yes and checked the box to allow such contact in the future. They would probably have to just tweek their firewall.
