Re: Corona virus, China major city lockdowns, etc.
Was there something specific that link was meant to highlight? It too me to a wiki page with a focus on past controversies around Pfizer but there didn't seem to be anything around the current vaccine. I might have missed it, though, it's a bit of a wall of text.
Lots of room for hope but nothing is certain.
Yeah, that sums it up for me. We shouldn't celebrate before we cross the finish line but the news is getting steadily better. I'm feeling pretty hopeful right now. Did other people read Dils last couple of posts different to me? I read them as saying, "the vaccine's hopeful but let's not count our chickens". Other people seem to have read them as something different.
I did a few other medical things, including visiting a dentist
You lucky SOB! I had a filling fall out right at the beginning of lockdown and the cavity it left is right up against the nerve. It's got badly infected twice, I've had 3 courses of anti-biotics, the abscess actually popped inside my mouth last night (which was fun) and I still can't get the dentist to see me. I'll say this, I love our NHS but dentistry does feel like one area we lag behind in.
In other news, Scotland qualified for the Euros last night. I live with a Glaswegian and I'm currently in an over enthusiastic hell or tartan hats, ginger wigs and irn bru.
