    VisualStudio.net Beta 2 and WinME

    I am using Windows ME and it will not let me install the new .net beta 2. Does anyone know a way around this without getting NT 4 which it tells me I need?

    you can't install it on a win9x pc...

    it only installs on nt4, nt5, and winxp.

    Unfortunately Microsoft decided to develop the IDE to use services as part of its functionality and therefore it won't work on ME or 9x.
