vtext.dll is a control that reads out text ie: through speakers.

If files are missing how do I find out what they are? Shouldn't PDW have added them? Can I find them in the project menu under references?

vtext.dll may have dependencies that are unknown.
If no dep information (look for file called vtext.dep) is provided with the file, the PDW won't know what to include.

I cant find any .dep file for it.

Ms Visual Installer seems to think that - "One or more files in MSVBVM60.msm, OLEAUT32.msm and MSCOMCT2.msm have different versions than those installed on this machine."

Do I need to get these files again from somewhere ???

I'm using PDW instead because i'm not familiar with MS Visual Installer and it needs a Windows Service Pack installed on the targert machine, which I cant garuantee.

I know Im kinda throwing up random errors but Im hoping something will eventually work.

And I thought PDW was going to make this bit easy.

    Thanks

    go to the source :)

where did u get the vtext.dll from in the first place?
you might wanna go back to where u got it and ask what are the deps.

are there any helpfile with this file ? It might tell u what files has to be distributed in order to run.

It was just there, I noticed it when i was looking down the components list in vb. There's some files in c:\windows\speech\ but putting those on the win95 pc doesn't do anything. The help file is no help at all, nothing to do with vb or programming.
