How do I create a window in visual c++ using code, or at lease with OUT using MFC?

My site has not been updated for quite awhile. Perhaps I should update it, but I am debating if I should move to a new host, pay to remove them friggen banners, or just do what I have thought about and just build my own web server. I got a DSL connection, Red Hat Linux 7 and a spare PC laying around. I think I have pretty much all I need for a server, I know I need a domain name (easy to get) and perhaps another ip address (available from my DSL service co )
