    Well ...

Who cares? I don't, neither do I click on any ad banners. So if they wanna advertise a couple more times, I couldn't care less. Frankly I don't even read which ads are there, or how many times.

Change is the only constant thing. I have not changed my signature in a long while and now it has started to stink!

Now when did I say I liked the ads??

No, I don't like the Sprinks popup. Some days back for a brief period of time, I experienced that the Sprinks page didn't load at all! That was not to last long though.

With the commercial considerations in mind, you cannot stop the ads coming into the forum pages, but I simply right-click the Sprinks screen whenever it opens and click Close from the context menu, not even seeing what's in that page.

About the ads on the forum pages, I turn a blind eye to them.

Instead of closing the ad, I like it when it doesn't show up in the first place. Ads that interfere with reading actual content are arrogant and turn me away from a site.

But we also must realize that it takes money to run such sites, and not all of us can afford to become paid members.

It's the same with homepage hosting services. They give it to you for free, and only display a banner or two.

    Fight! Fight! Fight!

There are ads on the VB Square look too. They are just much less intrusive.
