I know microsoft have an assembler , but they only provide updates . not the actual instalation File.

Where can I find an assembler ( a good one ) for win32 ??

MS assembler is called Visual C++ processor pack. vcpp.exe

Search for "processor pack" at their website.

I am not sure whether this installer need VC++6 SP5. It is stated it need VC++6 with SP5. But you can try.

This latest assembler support MMX, SSE, SSE2, AMD 3DNow instructions.Version 6.15
