    RCX or lego programming

    Hi,

This is a random shot in the dark, but I am looking for an answer or a site which can help me to program a Lego Robot using RCX picture programmer. It has to control a robot to move along a black line.

Any help is really gratefully accepted.
    Cheers.

use a light sensor, and when the light goes below a certain level turn left/right. it's just trial & error

yeah... i've done it before and it just requires a lot of trial and error to get the lighting right. The problem is that if you change the lighting in the room is fuccks up. BTW what does this have to do w/ Other Basic?? shouldn't this be in a dif forum??

skitchen8, what other forum could this have been in?

and in response to sparky, i competed in the RoboCup Junior 2001 competition, but unfortunately, i was in the soccer department, not the black line one. we did make the program in NQC, which is much better than that picture programming thingy.

if u want a program that follows that black line, i could whip up somethin for u (it would be in NQC tho, thats the only problem, but i would comment it for u)

PMSG or reply here if interested...
