It took a while before I could answer but rerouting
didn't help.
The strange thing is that my mailnotification
program shows the text, but when received in
ms outlook the text dissapeared.
It happens not with all e-mails, only a few and they
comes from the same company.
I received mayn e-mails from them and suddently this
came up. Could this problem has something to do
with encryption/decription ?
Sometimes it happens only when an attachment is used.
If you have other ideas just let me know.
thanks
Ray

Sorry marex, that should have said re-Booting.
I used to get that problem when I had "Use Word as email editor" option selected.
The emails from VB-World are OK because they don't contain any fancy fonts.

Marex,
A user had posted a fix in the September edition of PC Pro. He found the same problems as you, and it was only mail encoded in US_ASCII that was blank, and the others were fine. He found that the problem was a file called MLANG.DLL, that had got screwed when he tried the IE6 beta, and it hadn't correctly replaced it with IE5.5 when he uninstalled.
I suppose his fix depends on whether you've done something similar, but perhaps you could try and replace the MLANG.DLL that is correct for you.
Anyway, his fix from IE6 beta back to IE5.5 was:
1) Find an older version of MLANG.DLL than IE5.5
2) Start Windows in safe mode
3) Rename C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\MLANG.DLL to MLANG.OLD
4) Put older MLANG.DLL in C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\
5) Run IE5SETUP.EXE, and reinstall all files (to get it to reinstall the correct version of MLANG.DLL)

Well that could be my problem because I've also installed
the IE 6 beta sometime ago.
Thanks a lot for the support.
