What to do with the rubble

I think the rubble from the WTC towers should be dumped in the NY Harbor near the Statue of Liberty to create a small island on which a monument to the victims of all terrorism can be built.

I think we have enough trash in that harbor. And I doubt and island of rubble would be very stable or flat...at least your heart's in the right place

Maybe some of it can be recycled and used to build a memorial

I didn't mean just dump it hap-hazardly into the harbor. In fact, much of the island the Statue Of Liberty sits on is landfill, along with Ellis Island. In San Francisco much of the Marina District is built on landfill that was dumped in the bay after the 1901 earthquack. The SF International Airport is also built on landfill, along with the Tokyo airport, The LA/Long Beach harbor terminal is landfill, ect, ect, ect This is actually a very common practice in the world.

I think the WTC itself was built on landfill as well.
