    Formal Statement

    Bismillahi Rahmani Rahim
    -------------------------------------------

As we all know, we have witnessed one of the worst tragedies against HUMANITY. A crime that has made us as humans look like animals, without rational thoughts. This crime has taken countless number of INNOCENT civilian lives, for what? For no absolutely reason.

What has this crime done to the humanity at large you may ask? Well the victims themselves lost the chance to live a life like the rest of us, and their families will live with sadness until they day they die. Children have lost hope of the future. Those children around the world that witnessed this tragedy have lost hope for the future. They live in fear and cannot look at life as to say 72 hours ago. This tragedy has brought down shame on ALL of us as human beings. Yes there are those within humanity that can think rationally, but those that have no rational have out numbered the rest. Not only have the children lost hope for the future, but adults as well. I personally live in fear now and will live in fear for many many more years to come. Other innocent people have been affected greatly by this event, and will continue to be effected in the long run. These innocent people are victims themselves, victims of hate and anger of the aftermath.
People who cannot control their anger, only deal with it by hurting others, and abusing others.

We cannot change the past, but we can change the future, for once in human history, people of ALL races, all beliefs (and non beliefs) have came together to deal with this tragedy. This, friends is a good sign for humanity, and that rational thinking will prevail over insanity. That is if you, me and the rest of the world come together from now on and be ONE, regardless of your faith, race, or what country you are from.

This has been a great crime, a crime is a crime, regardless of who committed it, and the criminal MUST be punished. It is one of the saddest day for Islam, a religion that teaches peace and now has faced one of the greatest challenges because of some INSANE people who WEAR Islamic clothes. Who ever they are,
they are NOT one of us
. Nowhere in Islamic teachings can you find that Islam teaches hate or killing of innocent people.
    Code:
    Qur’an 2:190

Fight in the cause of God those who fight you, but do not
transgress limits; for God does not love the transgressors.
The crime that has been committed is an act of transgression, and we all must work together to hopefully put a stop to these people who have been taken away from those who possess any sanity.

Again, Islam is against such crimes, so please do not take out your anger on Muslims around the world.

I hear and read about how Muslims are being abused physically and verbally around the world without 100% absolute proof that even the transgressor were of Muslim faith.
It saddens me greatly that again we as humans have shown that the irrational thinking we possess have attempted to overthrow the rational thinking we possess.

If we all work together, we must put a stop to these insane people, be Muslim, Jew, Christian, Hindu, Atheist, Agnostic, or who ever they are.

We can change the future, for ourselves, our relatives, family and the rest of humanity, but we must work together, and put our belief differences aside. We have to work together because we are in NEED to put a stop to the irrational and the insane.

This tragedy have shown many of us to rethink about human life, be what ever race or color or belief those lives are.

In no way are we Muslims responsible for this, so please do not take out your anger on us, we are with you to deal with this and by your side to do whatever it takes to prevent such hideous crimes against the humanity at large. Lets come together, use our brains and I promise rational will prevail over the irrational.

I am sorry if I have offended anyone, in any way by what I just said, but I did have to let that out at some point in time.

Next time you see a Muslim, work with him instead of work against him and you will see that we are rational beings with love for ALL humanity.

    Love you all

    I agree. Well said.

    Clarification

    Hi Kovan,
I'd just like you to clarify something since you mentioned a verse in the Qur’an.

When the Taliban ruler calls all Muslims to Jihad against Americans (as I heard he just did), am I correct if I say that this Taliban ruler is NOT SPEAKING TO KOVAN nor to any other rational Muslims (since this Taliban ruler is not in accord with the teachings of Islam)? Further more, you and other rational Muslims are already pledged to a war against terrorism (as many world citizens have declared) and YOU and Rational Muslims are aligned with the United States of America (and its citizens) according to what President Bush has declared is a war against terrorism?

    Regards.

    Salaam Aleikum Kovan

It's a sad yet simple fact of life, that all members of a body of people get the flak for the actions of a few. All English soccer fans are hooligans, for instance, or all Australians drink beer. (Well, maybe they do. The girls, anyway.)

So let's do whatever we all can to move forward from this dismal week, and sure, let's bring the perps to book. But not at the cost of treating every member of Islam (if indeed it turns out to have been Muslims who did the deed) like murderers.

    Question

Your language is still cloudy for me.

You had spoken bad of the US government this past week, so I am asking about the present situation.

In your view (and perhaps in the view of whosoever you call rational Muslims), is the US government and/or the World Wide coalition that is forming against terrorism, transgressors by your definition?

Is the US transgressing presently or even when the first retaliatory strike occurs? Or do you say that the act on tuesday was retaliatory against an evil US?

Also, are you and rational Muslims aligned WITH and on the same side as the above US and World Wide coalition in this same war (which may or may not be called a holy war) against terrorism.

I'm not giving Kovan any credit. He only was quoting Bismillahi Rahmani Rahim, as far as I can tell. However, it is very apparent he is presenting himself in agreement with that statement.

At least he is no abdul.

US is going to attack on Afghanistan and it does not even have any proof that Osama Bin Ladan made the attacks on WTC.

Taliban are saying that if US gives them any proof then they will hand Osama Bin Ladan to US. But if US attacks on Afghanistan without having any proof then it will be called *TERRORISM*.

    Question Operation: Tombstone

    kovan,
You are getting closer to answering my question. Thanks.

    abdul,
US is going to attack on Afghanistan and it does not even have any proof that Osama Bin Ladan made the attacks on WTC.

Taliban are saying that if US gives them any proof then they will hand Osama Bin Ladan to US. But if US attacks on Afghanistan without having any proof then it will be called *TERRORISM*.
Pakistan (possibly at the request of the US) has requested that Afghanistan hand over Osama Bin Laden within three days.

"any proof"? The Taliban is more lenient than I would be since they will accept "any proof". I'm no lawyer, but I like what DerFarm asked in post http://vbforums.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=103249
I wonder what definition of proof they will require. Beyond a
shadow of a doubt (murder 1) or convincing evidence (civil law) or
    preponderance of evidence (non-murder felony).
I like the idea of "civilization" and acting civilized and correspondingly "civil law" -- convincing evidence, but due to the loss of life, "beyond a shadow of a doubt" that any terrorist group has caused murder should be sufficient to target that terrorist group to be "punished by the world coalition".

Operation: Noble Eagle is the classification for homeland defensive protection of the US. I think we should classify the military offensive as Operation: Tombstone to mirror the tactic taken in the movie Tombstone to purge the bandit-like "cowboys" from the US.

There are alot of principles that the US teaches in kindergarten (the education given in the grade before 1st grade) that can carry a civilized person through life. The lesson here is "you are judged by the type of friends you keep".

What type of proof do you think is proof?

    As of right now:
    Who are the innocent afghanians?
    Who are the guilty afghanians?
i assume your asking for my opinion on this
and i shall provide you with that

    Who are the innocent afghanis?
innocent are those who dont have a say in what the government does, or decides for them
innocents are those who live by bread and water and nothing else
innocents are those who go about thier lives without having the freedom to exercise their rights
    MOST of aghan are innocents

    who are guilty?
those who support "terrorism" againts innocents
IF Bin Laden is found guilty of the crimes (WITH SOLID PROOF)
then he is the guilty one
and anyone else that supports killing of INNOCENTS

if that didnt answer it let me know
