    Use DB2/MS SQL tables directly in VBA?

    I find it more clean to use directly the tables from the database servers instead of making links and utilizing DAO.

    I am a noob VBA programmer so I don't really know the APIs behind.

    What is the best way to access my tables directly without linking them?
