    448 MB of RAM

    Just upgraded today. 192 + 256...funky number huh?

    But really, I don't notice much of a difference yet. 300MB RAM free usually...is this overkill? Its just a regular machine that doesn't do much of anything demanding besides occasional gaming (which is more than fine with 192MB) and rarely any development.

    yea 448 is more than enough though

    i don't even need 512 but it was only a few bucks more so i said why not

    I have 512 and have not gone over the physical memory limit, although Windows XP is taking up 2 GB of HDD space. I can have a project open in Adobe Premiere and be playing Quake 3 at the same time.
