Monday Morning Lunatic
Abdul - why not? Like most reasonable people I don't particularly enjoy war or any other kind of military activity. I respect that it is necessary, although I feel sensitive towards the enemy whatever happens.
The fact that the enemy is totally undefined in most cases is beside the point.
However, this is terrorism, NOT war. There is a big difference and a military target outside of war is therefore not a military target.
I refuse to tie my hands behind my back and hear somebody say "Bend Over, Boy, Because You Have It Coming To You".

unfortunately, i do not see a reason to ban someone because they have a different view than you. I do not condone the attack (i am american after all), but i do respect the fact that people have other views than me. Of course i think this is wrong, many thousands of innocent people died because of this. But we must respect abdul's right to voice his opinion.
Government is another way to say better…than…you.
It’s like ice but no pick, a murder charge that won’t stick,
it’s like a whole other world where you can smell the food,
but you can’t touch the silverware.
Huh, what luck. Fascism you can vote for.
Humph, isn’t that sweet?
And we’re all gonna die some day, because that’s the American way

An opinion is ok as long as it doesnt hurt someone else. 40,000 people are dead or injured. Yet he seems to show no feeling when all this has happened. I personally know people who have died today, and you are laughing. If your grandfather died because the us bombed him, would you enjoy us talking about how great the us is? no. Maybe you want to look at another psot of mine in matthew gates' thread. A tale of a girl i know who wont have a dad coming home for christmas.

You are talking to people who have lost loved ones.
This is not a time for politics.
At another time the american's amongst us may be able to hear of the fear and hatred that is felt towards them and their country.
But, for now, we must huddle together. The beast is loose amongst us. That beast is not marked with a cross, a crescent, or a star. We know it is a beast because it has our face... the face that we wear when we have lost our soul... lost our humanity.
Now is a time when we must care for each other. Love one another. Feel the hurt, feel the fear, and simply struggle as human beings to express our hurt.
Stop hurting one another. Stop hurting yourself. Love.
Love to you all.

Who let a Tasmanian in here. What is this site coming too
Abdul, didn't read the posts which got everyone riled up. But condoning a cowardly act by a lunatic fanatical group is probably not going to win ya too many friends.
I hate to say this, but l agree with everything Pres Bush has stated so far today.
