I recently got this from someone in an e-mail:

Is it true that most browsers won't be able to access your

that is how the net actually was when it started.

that number is read as the ip or domain. so you can have 3 ways to get it. the domain name is also your ip in a form you can understand better.

so the domain is the same as the ip and those are the same as http://123456789

sometimes, people want a dedicated IP, because otherwise they sometimes have to share them with other people. It's not really bad, and i do it, but if you were running a pro website i would get your own IP. You will have to pay extra though.
