I'm not familiar with VSFlexGrid, but it appears to be a 3rd party alternative to MSFlexGrid
I didn't notice any loops in the code you provided, so that doesn't appear to be a source of slowness

How is the data stored?
  • in a database on the user's harddrive
  • on a network
  • other
