Strange Access Behavior
I have an Access 365 app. When I open the VBA editor and start typing, after each word the Access window pops back to the front. I'm guessing something is running that's sending focus back to Access, but I have no clue what it could be.
Anyone have any ideas on this?
Thanks

Re: Strange Access Behavior
are you using a laptop ?
could be that, while you are typing, the mouse pointer is over the access window, and by accident you touch the touchpad
aka 'the cat catches the mouse'
do not put off till tomorrow what you can put off forever

Re: Strange Access Behavior
What about Citrix? Are you accessing it via Citrix by any chance? I know I've had problems in the past where I'm accessing a client resource via Citrix, which then feels compelled to force itself to have focus when ever I switch to a local window. I had to completely remove Citrix, and re-install a newer client receiver. and then make a couple of registry changes to get rid of the problem.

Dunno if it still works in 365, but when opening the db try holding the shift key until the db has opened...
In the older versions ( I think ) this used to not run any code... macros etc...
Feeling like a fly on the inside of a closed window (Thunk!)
If I post a lot, it is because I am bored at work! ;D Or stuck...
